Haikyo (廃墟)

Meaning "ruins" in Japanese, the term describes an abandoned building, (a warehouse, a hotel, theme parks etc...) usually in an advanced state of decay / ruin...

because they are private properties, and dangerous, those places are off-limits.

Those two hotels are close to each other. The one below has been closed only few years, so some floors and rooms are as if guests had just left....

The luxury one below has been closed a couple of decades. And it shows....Though sometimes (very) creepy, the decaying building and its lost grandeur has also beauty...Japanese called this "mono no aware", the "pathos of things"...
